Omega IAT AS has changed its name to Omega Areal AS and is set to expand both its team and its range of expertise.

“We believe Omega Areal is a great collective term to describe what we do, including both our existing areas of expertise and the new services we are looking to launch,” says Omega Areal CEO, Gunnar Vårdal.

New skills

Omega Areal is now focussed on establishing new service areas and is therefore looking to hire individuals with expertise in building acoustics, geotechnical services, building physics, energy consulting and landscape architecture.

“With new expertise in these areas we can offer a complete package to our clients in all fields,” Vårdal explains.

Ready to recruit

The new name is part of a larger navbar-branding process accross the entire Omega concern, which will strengthen the profiles of each of Omega's divisions and subsidiaries. The Omega Areal navbar-brand is launched at the same time as the company is on the lookout for more employees to meet the increasing number of requests from both new and existing clients accross the Haugaland and Sunnhordland regions of Southwest Norway

“Today we are a team of 31, but we need many more talented professionals at all of our offices. Our assignments keep growing in number and in scope accross the business building market. This year we hope to hire at least ten new employees,” Vårdal says.

Key supplier

Since 1997, Omega IAT (Engineering & Architectural Services) has been a department of Omega AS. In 2004 Omega IAT AS became a subsidiary of the Omega concern. Omega Areal has evolved to become a central contractor of services within construction management, architectural and planning services in the Haugaland and Sunnhordland region of Southwest Norway for clients in the private and public sectors.
