Frame agreement with Odfjell Drilling

Omega has stepped up its cooperation with Odfjell Drilling, having being awarded a frame agreement with the Norwegian drilling and service company.

Consultants Manager, Vibeke M. Snarberg, and Omega CEO, Petter Aalvik, signed the agreement with Frode Monsen and Ole Omland of Odfjell Drilling mid-August.

"Our consultants have completed assignments with Odfjell Drilling in the past, and it is therefore really appreciated that Odfjell has chosen us for such a wide-ranging frame agreement. It confirms that our consultants have performed well for them," says Consultants Manager in Omega, Vibeke M. Snarberg, who signed the agreement with Odfjell Drilling mid-August.

Disciplines

Thirteen Omega consultants are currently on assignment at Odfjell; with the signing of this agreement, the team will soon double. The frame agreement is based on a three-year term and includes the following disciplines:

  • Document Control
  • Risk and Supply Chain Management
  • Mechanical
  • Process
  • Automation and Electrical
  • Subsea
  • LCI

The company has been awarded a contract with Statoil spanning four years, which includes the production drilling, maintenance and modification of eight permanent installations on the Norwegian shelf: Brage, Grane, Visund, Heidrun, Njord, Snorre A, Snorre B and Sleipner A.
