Omega's CEO, Petter Aalvik, reflects on Omega's achievements in 2012 and extends his gratitude to the Omega's team for a job well done.

Now, at the start of the New Year I would like to thank all of you for your efforts in 2012.

What I have appreciated most over the last 12 months, is the quality of the work that has been completed. The positive feedback we receive from our clients reflects the incredible efforts of the Omega team. "Best in class - without question", "professional and efficient", and "I would recommend Omega" are just a few of the comments we have heard throughout the year.

Highlights in 2012 include of course the fact that we welcomed 145 new employees to our team and in doing became a team of over 1000 for the first time. Omega’s personnel and systems are sold via great references throughout our network. More employees and more clients create an even larger network and offer, in turn, new opportunities.

The majority of Omega’s business is built on our solid relationships with some of the world’s largest energy companies, operators and suppliers. In addition to these established clients, both our Pims and Jobs teams have started working with new, up-and-coming companies in the oil and gas industry.

Beyond our Norwegian borders, Omega Singapore, Omega USA and Omega Australia have all contributed well to our strong growth. Omega's international expansion has positioned us well for exciting opportunities for both our Pims systems and consultant services this year.

Omega’s technology team also delivered with an improved technology framework, via Appframe R4, and extensive developments to our Pims products. We are really looking forward to showing the market what our Pims products havs to offer in 2013.
