Colleagues from Omega 365 had the chance to experience Flor and Fjære, just outside Stavanger, Norway, during the recent Advantage teambuilding.

The weekend offered a great mix of professional growth and social activities. In this scenic setting, participants enjoyed an aperitif in the garden, took part in a guided tour, and later dined at the Jungle Restaurant, where the menu featured local ingredients, home-grown herbs, as well as vegetables and flowers from the greenhouse.

Flor and Fjære, located on the northern tip of Sør-Hidle in Ryfylke, is a former tenant farm that has been transformed into a colorful oasis over three generations of the Hidlefjord family. The island, also known as "Palm Island," is famous for its more than 50 000 summer flowers each year and its combination of traditional Norwegian nature and exotic plants.

During their trip, the participants stayed at Hotel Victoria in Stavanger, with views over Vågen. The weekend also included a fjord cruise to Lysefjorden and Preikestolen in pleasant fall weather. In the evening, everyone gathered at the Salon du Nord bar before ending the day with a nice dinner in one of the hotel’s cozy restaurants.
