The project team, including Veronica Askeland, Svein Tore Haraldseid, Jan Christian Brataas, and Linda Andersen Matre from Omega 365 Solutions, is happy to have secured another three years as an ISO 27001-certified company.

After weeks of preparation and two rigorous days with an auditor assessing over 100 controls of the standard, the project team celebrated their achievement. With no identified non-conformances and no recommendations, they secured another three years as an ISO 27001-certified company.

“Having ISO 27001 certification demonstrates Omega 365's commitment to information security. This is essential and provides extra assurance to both our customers and employees,” says department manager at Omega 365 Solutions Linda Andersen Matre, who is also a member of the project team.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) issues standards in various areas, including ISO 27001, an international standard that sets requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving information security management systems. This system is tailored to meet an organization's specific needs, goals, security requirements, and processes. The core of an information security management system is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. This is achieved through effective risk management, which in turn builds trust among stakeholders.

“Omega 365 Solutions conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the company's procedures, documentation, and processes when we first achieved ISO 27001 certification in February 2021. Since then, we have undergone annual follow-ups to ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of procedures, documentation, and compliance with these,” concludes Matre.
