Omega 365 hosted Mingel in Haugesund

Last Thursday, Omega 365 in Haugesund hosted Mingel, a monthly gathering fostering connections among newcomers, returning residents, and locals seeking insights.

Held at Vangen Pling Plong, Mingel showcased Haugaland Vekst's initiative, inviting local businesses to be hosts, and this time it was Omega 365’s turn to host the event. The event started off with delicious Christmas wraps. This was followed by a 20-minute presentation about Omega 365 as a company. The presentation featured four employees in different positions. Architect Marte Gresslien, system developers Heidi Haugsdal Kvinge and Cecilie Høvring, and administrative staff member Veronica Askeland, shared their experiences working in the company, discussing their roles, typical workdays, and tasks.

The evening concluded with a teambuilding activity. The chosen theme for the activity was film, paying homage to Haugesund's identity as a film hub. Participants were given instructions on screen to create a stop-motion animation using plasticine and colored sheets. The result culminated in a film screening and an award for the best production.

Veronica highlighted Mingel's purpose, saying,

“We want people to stay. We seek resources for the region, showing opportunities and exciting job prospects.”

“The response was very positive, and people were engaged and interested. We had positive feedback on both presentations and activities. It was an enjoyable and unifying experience,” Veronica shared.
