Focus on cybersecurity in Omega 365

October marks International Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a global initiative that supports digital safety. Jan Christian Brataas, Chief Technology Officer at Omega 365, highlights the company's commitment to IT security for both team members and clients.

At Omega 365, the focus remains on providing insightful and practical cybersecurity advice throughout October, emphasizing the significance of addressing this digital threat.  

“By making security part of our daily routines—whether through strong passwords, secure data-sharing practices, or simply being mindful of suspicious activity—we can significantly reduce the risk of cyber threats,” says Brataas. 

At Omega 365, continuous training and education are key elements to ensure that the Omega 365 team possesses not only the knowledge but also the skills required to navigate the digital landscape securely.  

“Cyber threats are continually changing and impacting various sectors of society, underscoring the need for robust cybersecurity practices. We therefore have a big focus on the team's active participation in the Security Awareness Training Course available on the employee learning platform, Academy. We also encourage our team members to report anything unusual, such as phishing attacks, creating a proactive culture of vigilance.”
