Two new years with Apply Sørco

Omega has been awarded an extended frame agreement with Apply Sørco and will supply engineering services to all disciplines within engineering and project support.

The contract is a concern-based frame agreement for consulting services, with extensions lasting until the end of 2018. Omega has supplied engineering services to Apply Sørco since the first frame agreement was signed in 2012. The signed agreement was negotiated by Apply Sørco on behalf of Apply Leirvik, Apply Bergen, Apply Emtunga, and Apply Sørco (Stavanger and Hammerfest).

Omega Department Manager, Kristin Jæger, says it is a vote of confidence to secure the renewed agreement.

“In today’s market this agreement means a lot to us. It is particularly positive to be one of the companies that receives prolonged trust, when we know Apply Sørco has reduced their number of suppliers. I hope and believe it is a result of good teamwork with Apply Sørco over many years,” says Jæger.

Apply Sørco is a leading supplier of services and technology products to the oil and gas industry. The company has over 30 years of experience in Norway. Apply’s head office is in Stavanger and they are also represented in Bergen, Krakow, and Hammerfest. The company is owned by Apply AS.

“The agreement can be used by the entire concern,” explains Jæger.

In December 2015 Apply Sørco secured new frame agreements within maintenance and modifications with Statoil. The agreement, which lasts over the next six years, applies to the following licenses and facilities: Gina Korg, Sleipner, Gudrun, Draupner, Gullfaks, Kvitebjørn and Valemon.

“Hopefully, this will eventually mean that we can contribute as a business partner in the various phases of these project,” concludes Jæger.
