Launching Omega IT Consultants
Omega takes one step further in IT and will be offering IT consultancy services to both new and current clients starting 2014. “Our goal is to achieve the same within IT as we have done in oil and gas”, says Omega’s new IT team.

Omega expands both network and client segments as we supplement Omega Pims and Omega Jobs with our newest business area: Omega IT Consultants will offer consultant services in IT to a number of different clients and exciting job opportunities to candidates with IT experience. Our two new department managers Jon Andreas Bygstad and Kjetil Løvås are spearheading the new business focusing on clients all around Norway.
”The IT marked is changing, and there is a large demand for engineers and project services. With the company organization, service, and recruitment experience from Omega to start with, there are many opportunities to meet the demand in the IT market. Our goal is to build Omega in IT, the same way the company has developed in oil and gas”, Bygstad and Løvaas say.
The Omega way
Omega’s new department will offer a wide range of consultant services in IT, first from our office in Bergen, then also from department offices in Oslo and Stavanger. Our new target client group will mean a significant expansion of Omega’s client specter.
«We focus on banking, finance, trade, industry and public sector, in addition to larger IT companies that need the expertise. Of course, we will also offer these services to Omega’s existing clients in oil and gas,” Bygstad says, ready to begin the search for experienced IT consultants to join the team.

Bygstad and Løvaas boasts years of experience from companies in Norwegian and International IT business.
