Our colleagues in Klaipeda, Lithuania, recently received an award from the Klaipeda Science and Technology Park, which recognized them for their technology contribution in the local market.

  • Working on projects for clients such as BP, Talisman, Maersk, Lundin, Shell, Eni, Worley Parsons, Gazprom, Statoil and Dong

"We appreciate the fact that Omega Technology, whose services are used by Statoil, Dong Energy, and other large oil and gas companies, applies their unique experience and skills to the development of IT applications in Lithuania, thus creating a new standard of quality for our IT sector," said the Director of the Klaipeda Science and Technology Park (KSTP), Roma Stubriene.

KSTP awarded Omega the prize, and a letter signed by the mayor of Klaipeda, to General Manager of Omega Technology, Vadim Naroznij, in an award ceremony on 26 March 2014.

The jury focused on Omega Technology’s utilization of its years of international experience in software development to provide quality services to the local market.

The company has developed a tax accounting system for the Klaipeda Regional Waste Management Centre (KRATC) and created a system by which Baltic transportation companies could retrieve driving permits from across four countries. Omega Technology has also participated in a number of projects with Klaipeda University in recent years.
