Omega has launched its latest Improve concept: Improve Projects focus our team's attention on individual projects and invite contributions towards new solutions.
“Improve has provided us with the opportunity to utilize the experience of our colleagues, no matter where they happen to be in the world. Since launching Improve, we have collected all our team's suggestions and ideas in one database. Via this database, we have now grouped similar suggestions to form Improve Projects. Through Improve Projects, our colleagues can contribute to projects as they evolve,” says HSEQ Manager, Karina Hovden Stava.
This is Improve Projects
- One Improve Project is selected based on suggestions from Omega employees via Improve
- The team intensifies the project work during a limited time period with a deadline
- An area is created in Improve for this project only
- Omega employees all over the world are provided with the opportunity to contribute with suggestions and input for the project
- The project is completed and goes live
Stava encourages Omega employees to use Improve to send us tips and ideas for our projects as they are take place. “Contributions from our co-workers are priceless. With the help we receive via Improve, we can be even more certain that our solutions will suit the people who will be using them."

My Profile was Omega’s first Improve Project, developed by a team of three, with the assistance of input from numerous Omega employees via Improve.
