Getting there

It is necessary to organise your own flights to and from Thailand:

  • SAS has direct flights, operated by Thai Airways, five times a week from Oslo Gardermoen (OSL) to Bangkok, and daily from Copenhagen and Stockholm (ARN).
  • KLM flies to Bangkok via Amsterdam (AMS) and Paris (CDG) from Oslo, Sandefjord, Bergen, Stavanger, Kristiansand, and Trondheim.

From the airport

All guests are brought from the airport to Nordic Tropical Resort by a pickup service, and the transport from the airport to the resort is included in the Advantage offer. The house is located about 150 kilometers from Bangkok International Airport, approximately a two-hour drive.

On arrival

Transport to and from the airport is included in the Advantage offer. Please let us know the time of arrival and departure, flight number, how many people you are, and if there are children with you. Send this information to Omega 365 and we will set you up for airport pickup.

During your stay

The Internet connection may at times be unstable.

Car rental

Reception at the resort uses a local car rental company who delivers the car to the resort and collects it again after use. Guests wishing to avail of this service can contact reception.

Cleaning

Washing and cleaning is done by our own cleaner once a week. Towels and bed linen are washed three times during a two-week period.

Activities

In Bang Sarey you can find a number of beaches, golf courses, parks, hiking trails, restaurants, cafés, and bars. At Nordic Tropical Resort you will find several welfare and activity offers.

NB! We remind you that there may be some reduced activity in the area in the period from May to September (outside of the high season).

Swimming pools

Guests may use the two swimming pools at the resort.

Fitness Centre

You can easily register a membership in the fitness center. State your name and pay in the reception before your first work-out. The card is valid until your departure.

Spa

Nordic Tropical Resort has expanded its services and offers guests a massage and health spa in the resort.

Bike & Moped Rental

At the resort, you may also rent mopeds if you would like to explore the area on wheels.

Outings and tours

There are a number of activities in the Bang Sarey area. Tours can be ordered through Nordic Tropical Resort. You can see some of the attractions available in the area on their website.

NB! Please note that the prices in this folder applies for the 2011/2012 season and may vary from season to season.

Grocery list

You have the opportunity to order groceries ahead of arriving at our holiday house at Nordic Tropical Resort; your groceries will then be waiting for you at the house on arrival. To take advantage of this service, fill out the attached shopping list (Download as .pdf) and send it by email to booking@bangsareyresort.com well ahead of your arrival.

On departure

Please note the date and time of departure, and be aware that you must leave the night ahead if departure is at 00:50.

The key must be returned to the security guard or in the reception on departure.
