• Located right in the heart of the old town

• Restaurants, cafes, shops and sights

• 5 minutes to walk to La Rambla

• 5 minutes to walk to Placa Catalunya

• 5-10 minutes to walk to Placa Reial

• 15-20 minutes to walk to the beach

• 25-30 minutes to walk to Sagrada Familia (Church of the Holy Family)

• 45-50 minutes to walk to Parc Güell (Gaudi Park)

Transport

• It is easy to get from the airport to the flat with a taxi. It takes about 15 minutes and costs around 30-40 Euro

• There are also Metro and buses, there are well signposted and many possibilities

• We do not recommend car hire for short stays of a few days or a week in Barcelona. It is easiest and fastest to explore the city on foot, by Metro, bus or taxi. There is also mostly a queue and no parking available. Car hire can be recommended for shorter periods of time if one wishes and explore the cities located just outside Barcelona

On arrival

• It is important that you send arrival and departure times to Yvonne no later than one week before you travel to Spain. Yvonne's email will be received in a separate email from Omega approximately 14 days before departure

• Check-in is at 16:00 and check-out at 11:00. If you want to come sooner or stay a little longer, you can ask if it is possible

• There is personal check-in in the flat where you are met by our gender neutral preferred who gives you a key and explains how things work in the flat. NB! Remember to show up at the agreed time so they don't wait for you! 

During your stay

• Barcelona is a very safe city even though it is big and attracts a lot of tourists. Violent crime is nothing to worry about, but pickpocketing is especially prevalent in popular areas with large crowds, so beware!

• The flat is located in a very old building in the old town and we ask that you respect the rules

  • No smoking, no pets and no candlelight

  • Don't party, and it should be quiet after 11 p.m. Then it's time to explore the unique nightlife Barcelona has to offer with plenty of bars, discos and nightclubs

• NB! There is a snap lock on the front door, so do not slam the door shut until you are absolutely sure that you have the key with you. Should you be locked out, you must cover the cost of opening the door again

• The doors to the French balconies must always be closed and locked when you are not in the flat

• Do not leave air conditioning on when the balcony doors are open and when you are not in the flat. The container must be emptied daily if air conditioning is in use

• Turn off all lights when you are not in the flat

• The main tap for the water is outside the window in the bathroom

• Trash is put outside the main door on the ground floor after 8 p.m. every night. There is no recycling, so all waste goes in the same garbage bag. NB! Do not put out on the street during the day!

• It is clean in the streets that flush every night / night and a very quiet area, but you can always hear life from the vibrant city

• If you should be unlucky enough to break or destroy any of the inventory, it must be bought new. You must notify Omega 365 about this

On departure

• The flat is cleaned by our own cleaners who take care of the cleaning between each stay. We therefore ask that the flat be left tidy after your stay, as it was when you arrived. If our cleaners have to spend more than two hours on the laundry, this extra expense will be charged to the employee

• Turn off the air conditioning

• Place used bed linens and towels on the floor

• Always leave a roll of dopair, drying roll, dishwashing tablets, etc. for the next person

• Check that all balcony doors are locked

• Wash all surfaces and refrigerator, freezer and stove

• Remove from the dishwasher and put everything in place

• Remember to bring the last remnant of the rubbish when you travel. NB! Do not put out on the street during the day!

• Remember to turn off all lights

• NB! Leave the key on the dining table and close the door when you leave the flat, check that the door is locked!

• Taxi does not need to be pre-booked to the airport, as you can easily get a taxi in the main street "Via Laietana" just below the flat
