We've received a request to expand our Omega 365 reporting capabilities. The suggestion is to incorporate a Project: Time-Phasing (Compare) pivot report, similar to the one present in Pims R4. Ideally, users would be able to pull data from a specific archive for their analysis. We understand that a full archive feature might not be available yet, but we will look into the possibilities of adding this in the future. This way, we continue to bridge the gap between Omega 365 and its predecessor, providing our users with the tools they need to work efficiently.

In the Portfolio Planner, we've added a new feature in response to common user requests. Now, under the "Details" section for "Assessments", you can find an additional column named "Type". This comes in handy as you could tag or categorize each assessment based on its type, improving organization and ease of use. Available types include CVP and Masterplan. More options may be available in the future. This upgrade should provide a more streamlined process and encourage more diverse use of assessments in workflows.

In response to user feedback, we have made a helpful update to our BIM Model Review. Previously, if a model file wasn't parsed, the system would only show an empty page, leaving users uncertain about what had happened. From now on, the system will provide an informative warning whenever this happens. This provides a useful notification similar to the warning provided in the document register preview.

In a bid to enhance user experience and flexibility, we've introduced a feature where users can now utilize 'FilterStrings' on handover reports. This will let users specify the filter based on their unique needs and requirements. The objective of this feature is to reduce the number of reports we create, allowing users to customize what they want to see in the reports themselves. For instance, if a user only wants to see open punch items, that can now be easily filtered, whereas another user may opt to see all punch items. This update is focused on delivering more control to our users, enabling them to get exactly what they want from the reports.

System role on position: Closed roles are reassigned by af_jobs
In our ongoing effort to improve the system, we've received feedback regarding role assignment and adjustments. Users reported that when a role in a project is assigned, the person assigned receives the system roles that are linked to that function. This seems to be working as expected. However, there was a request for two improvements: 1. The ability to close access granted through this functionality. 2. If a system role is changed (added or removed) within function roles, it should trigger adjustments only to the selected system roles for users with these function roles. Additionally, a reported issue was that daily checks reset any closed system roles back to assigned people in a project. To reproduce this particular scenario, a user assigned specific system roles to a function, closed one, and found it reassigned the next day. To further enhance our services, we’ll be looking into these requests and issue reported. We'll keep you updated about the progress. Please continue to share your invaluable feedback. We have implemented a feature request that addresses issues related to calendar bookings in Outlook. Previously, when an invitation was sent through the project, and the event lasted more than a day, it would appear as if the invitee was "busy" for the entire period. This feature would also reflect in Teams outlook as "busy". This has now been modified. The event, when accepted, will automatically be listed as "free", eliminating the necessity for users to manually change the status from "busy" to "free". This update enhances overall user convenience and efficiency.

Accruals calculation change - should not take currency impact into account
Changes have been made to the accruals calculation in the software. Previously, it would consider aspects like actual cost, booked cost and currency impact. Based on user feedback, it's understood that this approach could sometimes lead to unnecessary reserves for completed tasks because of the currency impact. To improve this, adjustments have been applied. Now, the accruals calculation only considers the actual cost and the booked cost, neglecting any impact of currency. This change is expected to provide a more accurate and reliable accruals calculation.

Shared Folder (NT) \ Files are not checked-in using Office Online-editing
We've resolved an issue where files weren't being checked-in after editing them in the Office Online feature inside the Shared Folders. You might have noticed multiple records indicating a document check-out every time you opened a document for editing. This has now been fixed, and documents will properly check-in after editing. As a result, fewer records will be generated for each edit, providing a cleaner and more accurate file history.
