Mechanical Superintendent - Commissioning

Assignment Description

2 x open positions for Commissioning Mechanical Supervisor and Superintendent: 

2 & 1 roster. 

Camp accommodation. 

Qualifications Required

1. Commissioning experience in Oil & Gas 
2. Strong supervisor & coordination skills – directing, supervising trades persons. 
3. Has used a CCMS package and completed pre commissioning ITRs, e.g. on a laptop and or tablets (iPads)
4. Can assist with coordination and executing of Commissioning activities – procedures, wet/hot/dynamic commissioning. 
5. Computer skills
   1. Emails
   2. Meeting bookings, coordinate and running of meetings for Mech team. 
   3. Excel spreadsheets
   4. Scanning and printing etc. 
   5. CCMS as above
   6. Tablets – iPads
6. Experience with 
   1. Flange management ITRs
   2. Piping alignment ITRs
   3. Motor and pump – fan alignments and their ITRs
   4. Can close and sort punch list items and understand categories.
   5. Attend and contribute to Risk Assessments, HAZID workshops and MOCs. 
   6. Pipeline cleaning, blowing and drying.
   7. Rotating equipment – pumps, compressors, fans, blowers etc. Vibration analysis. 
   8. Reading engineering related drawings and vendor manuals etc.

9. Exposure to Nitrogen leak testing (done onsite by others)
10. Exposure to 1st fills of lubricants, grease and chemicals etc. 
11. Permits

1. Designing isolations
2. Verifying isolation
3. Permit Holder and authority. 
4. SMWS and JSEAs 

12. Running mech trades daily prestart (06:00am onsite) and close out meetings 6pm.
6. Flexibility to work extended hours or shifts on an ad hoc requirement. Open to working night shift on an as needed requirement. 
7. Open to working on roster over Christmas holidays.

Contract until circa Dec 2024 - Jan 2025
