Senior Instrument Engineer

Assignment Description

• Perform system engineering for instrument systems.
• Perform IS calculations.
• Prepare requisitions and specifications for procuring instrument packages and equipment, and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Approve supplier documentation for instrument equipment and follow up on delivery to ensure timely arrival.
• Prepare documentation for onshore installation, including drawings, specifications, and data sheets.
• Prepare engineering work packages that include cost and weight estimates, among other details.
• Conduct onshore and offshore surveys of instrument equipment and perform factory acceptance tests for instrument packages.
• Deliver high-quality results and exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications Required

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with ATEX requirements and certified equipment required.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Instrument Engineering.
• Proficiency in using TIME, MIPS, STID, and Procosys.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and a Scandinavian language.
• Offshore certification is necessary to qualify for this position.
