As a Technical Data Specialist for Wells, you will support the organization with in-depth capabilities and expertise with responsibility for Area Data Management in the subsurface well domain– responsible for communications, monitor data quality and drive user adoption.

- Responsible for Data Management activities towards area
- Be Data Management focal point for users and leads
- Responsible for area communication
- Monitor quality and standard adherence
- Monitor service & data quality metrics to assess performance
- Drive user adoption of standards and ways of working
- Loading data into subsurface systems
- Be well versed in Client DM strategy and practices
- Identify and coordinate training needs as well as mentoring and training users
- Provide input to improvement initiatives
- Provide silent running support
- Maintaining decision data in Master systems
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree within subsurface discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience within Data Management
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills with creativity and ability to critical thinking and problem solving
- Knowledge of Schlumberger suite of applications – Petrel, Petrel Studio, Techlog, Techlog Studio
- Other subsurface systems an advantage, e.g. EDM Compass, IC
- Expertise in either well or seismic Data Management
- Oil & Gas Industry Experience from Operator
- Digital change implementation/execution experience
- Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
