Contract Lead
Assignment Description
- Lead contract establishment and supplier portfolio management activities for Equinor’s US Appalachia Basin Operations
- Engage and collaborate with technical team to identify business needs and execute strategies in an efficient manner to secure goods and services.
- Support and/or deliver strategic procurement tasks not limited to:
- Strategy development
- Tenders, bid evaluation, RFI/P/Q, e-auctions
- Contract establishment and negotiations
- Contract management and supplier performance reviews
- Optimize supplier base for business activity levels Support and/or deliver operational procurement tasks not limited to:
- Purchasing and expediting of time and cost critical material/services
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of materials and services to D&W operations
- Actively collaborate and prioritize procurement activities together with the business and suppliers according to Equinor Management system
- Ensure proactive follow-up of key internal stakeholders and establish/maintain professional relationship with suppliers
- Monitor and push for improvements in performance of SCM tasks executed within area of responsibility towards the business line
Qualifications Required
- Ideally 5+ years’ preferred supply chain contract lead experience in Energy Industry
- Previous experience working for an operator, focus on shale or unconventional
- Relevant Bachelor or master’s degree or equivalent
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Experienced and solution-oriented negotiator - Solid understanding of project management - Proven stakeholder management skills - Strategic and commercial mindset - Can demonstrate business and value chain understanding
- Ability to role model Equinor Safety and Values (Open, Caring, Courageous and Collaboration) expectations
