Senior Material Engineer

Assignment Description

• Perform material selection, compatibility assessment, corrosion assessment, cathodic protection evaluation, supplier and manufacturing processes follow-up
• Take part in standardization and continuous improvement of products and processes
• Focus on innovative and sustainable solutions within subsea and renewable segments Interact with internal and external clients as part of tender, studies and project execution
• Collaborate closely with global stakeholders Skills:
• 5-10 years of versatile experience with material technology in the energy and/or process industry
• Experience and competence with surface protection/coating system selection is considered as an advantage
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and practices
• Motivation to work in a cross-cultural team and interact in a global network
• Good networking skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English

Qualifications Required

• Masters degree in Materials technology and/or Mechanical engineering with materials related subjects. 
• Other background can be evaluated with relevant experience 
• 3 years work experience
• Language: English Native or bilingual proficiency
