Project Engineer Umbilical
Assignment Description
- Responsible for delivery of high quality technical output from engineering activities related to Umbilical scope of supply and to ensure compliance with Project Execution Model (PEM)department procedures
- Project requirements and applicable standards and regulations
- Manage own workload and complete assigned tasks within part of a project/assignment with adherence to defined engineering procedures and practices and under supervision
- This person shall prepare/facilitate and/or participate in Design Reviews within his/her area
- Create and maintain Materials and BoM’s in SAP and ensure relevant input is obtained and implemented
- This person shall give technical input to Lead engineer/Team Lead and/or procurement department, Supply Chain
- This person shall upon request give technical support to sub-contractors and suppliers
- Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to a continuous improvement culture
- Proactively gain and share knowledge/experience within team and department
- Ensure relevant Lessons Learnt are captured, understood and recorded as required
- Deliver OTQD (On Time Quality Delivery) engineering documentation according to Company`s practice, guidelines and procedures
Qualifications Required
- Knowledge of and experience with engineering and project execution work processes (PEM)
- A general understanding of the business area
- Proven knowledge in SAP ERP system (Templates, doc WF, Material Master, BOMs, NCRs, ECs)
- Experience from all phases of a subsea project and preferably umbilical project
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards - Good technical, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work as a team member
- Ability to plan and prioritize own activities and manage own workload with minimum supervision in addition to working under pressure while maintaining
On Time Delivery and Quality mindset
- BSc or MSc in relevant engineering discipline
- 3 years relevant experience
- Evaluation criteria: Experience from all phases of a subsea project and preferably umbilical experience; Previous AKSO Experience; mechanical and subsea experience
