The purpose of the scheduler is to develop a single consolidated maintenance work schedule that is aligned and agreed with offshore maintenance, production, services, logistics and materials management. The scheduler optimizes efficiency through bundling of work and resource loading of all available resources the asset has to execute the work.
Liaise with external service providers to ensure all resources and materials are in place to complete planned work.
Provide all necessary manuals, drawings, or other information required to execute maintenance work.
Maintain data records and files of work performed, cost, etc. for effective analysis.
Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly and year schedules of maintenance work documenting the jobs on the schedules
Secure necessary parts to execute jobs.
Ensure the daily and weekly maintenance schedules are communicated are communicated and distributed to the department team members involved in the work.
Ensure Client standards are applied in scheduling process work.
Manage work orders, from the moment they are handed over by the planner until they are scheduled for execution and oversee the work until completion.
Use and maintain plant information history and related technical files to assist with future scheduling.
Maintains a 100% capacity load for the coming 2 weeks.
Identify the reasons for not meeting the daily and weekly schedule. Suggest and drive actions to improve.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or other related field (Asset)
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) (Asset)
Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) (Asset)
5 years of experience in maintenance practices including KPI’s, Planning & Scheduling, Work Order process and budgets
5 years of experience with a computer managed maintenance system (CMMS) such as Tabware, SAP
2 years experience planning outages and shutdowns
5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry or paper industry including significant experience with rotating equipment, fixed equipment, electrical and instrumentation
