  • Independent and initiator of technical G&G work. 
  • High quality/knowledge of hydrocarbon prospect volume and risk assessment  
  • High to good quality geophysical knowledge in most of the topics below; 
  • Seismic interpretation  
  • Attribute analysis  
  • Well to seismic tie 
  • Depth conversion 
  • Seismic reprocessing 
  • Inversion  
  • Seismic acquisition   
  • CSEM  
  • Geophysical modelling  

Qualifications Required

  • General knowledge in cross disciplinary geoscientist topics below; 
  • Sedimentology 
  • Sequence stratigraphy  
  • Biostratigraphy 
  • Structural Geology 
  • Petrophysics 
  • Well planning, drilling and well site geology/follow-up 
  • Petroleum basin evaluation/analysis/modelling 
  • Experience from the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS)/UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) 
  • Knowledge regarding geodatabases and storage  
  • Experience as EC and MC member in production licences  
  • Good communication and collaboration skills 
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi discipline team environment 
  • Fluent in English written and oral 

Duration: from January 2021 for a period of 6-12 months.
