Capitalization Guidelines
Consistency in capitalization reinforces our brand’s professional appearance and ensures clarity in communication.
Use Capitalization For:
Job Titles: Capitalize formal job titles when they appear directly before or after a name.
Product and System Names: Capitalize the names of Omega 365 products and systems to emphasize their identity.
Acronyms and Initialisms: Always capitalize acronyms and initialisms. Spell out the full term on the first mention with the shortened form in parentheses.
Headings and Titles: Use capitalization for major headings and document titles, following the "Title Case" style.
Do Not Capitalize:
Editorial Headlines and Article Titles: Only the first word and proper nouns should be capitalized in general editorial use.
Capitalization of Words/Titles: In Omega 365, full capitalization should be avoided for entire words or titles.
Special Note on Pims
Pims was originally an acronym but is no longer written in capitals in Omega 365. Therefore, it should be written as "Pims" rather than "PIMS." Find more guidelines about our product names here.
