ROV Tooling Coordinator
Omega Subsea has established a dedicated tooling technology company to strengthen our position as a leading provider of innovative subsea solutions. By combining engineering expertise with operational experience, we provide, manufacture, and support advanced ROV tooling that enables safer, smarter, and more efficient offshore operations.
To support the continued growth of both our subsea operations and our tooling business, we are expanding our ROV Tooling Department and are looking for an responsible and self-driven ROV Tooling Coordinator to take ownership of organizing and coordinating ROV tooling for rental and sale in internal and external projects.
In this role, you will be involved in the technical development, standardization, and lifecycle management of our ROV tooling systems. Working closely with offshore personnel, project teams, customers, and manufacturing partners, you will ensure that our tooling solutions are innovative, reliable, and fit for purpose while contributing to the continued growth of our tooling business.
Key responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for Omega Subsea’s ROV and Project teams regarding the rental and sale of ROV tooling.
Maintain an accurate overview of ROV tooling assets across company facilities and projects.
Coordinate tooling movements to and from projects, ensuring equipment availability and traceability.
Support the planning and allocation of tooling according to project requirements.
Develop and improve procedures for equipment control, certification, validation and readiness.
Ensure tooling documentation and asset records are accurate and up to date.
Contribute to efficient collaboration between project teams, technical personnel, facilities and external partners.
Build strong knowledge of a broad range of ROV tooling and technical equipment.
Qualifications
Experience from a technical ROV role, equipment rental company or a similar technical environment is preferred.
Technical understanding of ROV tooling and offshore equipment is an advantage.
The ability and motivation to learn about a wide range of technical equipment are essential.
Relevant practical experience may compensate for formal education.
Comfortable using digital systems for asset tracking, documentation and coordination.
Fluent written and spoken English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
