Plumber
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
Inspect plumbing systems to identify leaks, faults, and blockages.
Install and repair pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and sanitary fixtures.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plumbing layouts.
Test plumbing systems for functionality and safety.
Cut, assemble, and install pipes using appropriate tools and materials.
Respond to plumbing emergencies and perform troubleshooting.
Ensure all plumbing work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
Collaborate with contractors, electricians, masons, and other construction personnel.
Prepare material estimates and report work progress to supervisors.
Perform routine maintenance on water and sewage systems.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a plumber
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe fitting and drainage systems.
Ability to read and understand plumbing drawings and specifications.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and time management skills.
Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
Ability to work with PVC, copper, galvanized, and other piping materials.
Plumbing certification or trade qualification is an advantage.
