Senior Analyst - Project Controls
This role is part of the Delivery & Operations Division. The Senior Analyst plays a critical role in delivering successful client outcomes on complex, large-scale initiatives, including large capital projects, by leading client workshops, managing implementations, and serving as a primary liaison between clients and internal teams.
This role blends consultative facilitation, senior-level project management, and solution design with strong Project Controls discipline to ensure client goals are understood, governed, and delivered effectively through the Omega 365 Software platform.
Key Responsibilities
Client Workshops & Facilitation
Lead client discovery, design, and requirements workshops to understand business processes, capital project delivery models, governance structures, and performance objectives
Facilitate cross-functional working sessions that align client stakeholders on scope, cost, schedule, risk, and success metrics
Translate workshop outcomes into clear documentation, actionable requirements, solution designs, and control frameworks
Guide clients through change management considerations, governance alignment, and Project Controls best-practice adoption for capital projects
Project Management & Client Engagement
Own end-to-end delivery of client implementations supporting large capital projects, including scope, timelines, milestones, interdependencies, constraints, and risks
Establish and maintain integrated project plans aligned with cost baselines, schedules, forecasts, and control accounts
Ensure alignment between implementation activities and client capital project lifecycles (e.g., FEL, execution, commissioning, closeout)
Proactively identify project risks, issues, and variances; analyze impacts to cost and schedule; recommend mitigation and recovery strategies
Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, schedule, and budget, while meeting agreed performance and reporting standards
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders across project delivery, controls, and executive leadership teams
Build and maintain strong client relationships through transparent communication, expectation-setting, and disciplined follow-through
Serve as the primary point of coordination between clients, internal delivery teams, and (as applicable) EPCs or contractors
Clearly communicate trade-offs, risks, and recommendations tied to cost, schedule, and delivery outcomes
Solution Development & Collaboration
Partner with system engineers and analysts to gather functional and technical requirements related to capital project controls and reporting
Translate business and project controls requirements into scalable Omega 365 solution designs aligned with platform capabilities
Validate solutions via design reviews, demonstrations, testing cycles, and user feedback
Ensure solutions support data integrity, auditability, and performance requirements prior to release or go-live
Demonstrations, Reporting & Enablement
Perform client demonstrations showcasing capital project controls use cases, reporting, dashboards, and workflows
Support user enablement through training sessions, walkthroughs, and implementation documentation
Guide clients toward effective use of Omega 365 for cost control, schedule tracking, forecasting, and executive reporting
Continuous Improvement & Feedback
Capture client feedback and project learnings to improve delivery processes, controls maturity, and solution approaches
Contribute to internal delivery playbooks, project controls templates, and best practices
Identify opportunities for process optimization, expanded solution usage, or additional controls capabilities in collaboration with Sales & Marketing
Mentor junior staff on the discipline of project controls bridging the gap between Omega 365 knowledge and real-world client expectations
Inform management of any potential problems, disputes, or issues that may impact project outcomes or the client’s perception of success

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5–10 years of experience in project management, professional services, consulting, or capital project delivery environments
Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects involving cost, schedule, and performance controls
Strong understanding of project controls concepts (e.g., cost management, scheduling, forecasting, change management, risk)
Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills
Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver customer-facing solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Project management certification (PMP or equivalent)
Experience with large capital projects in energy, construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors
Experience implementing or working with project controls systems, EPM platforms or SaaS solutions
Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or stage-gate delivery methodologies
Experience supporting or partnering with Sales & Marketing teams
