Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical issues using manuals, schematics, and tools.

• Repair or replace faulty parts (e.g., bearings, gears, motors, pumps).

• Operate and maintain machines like lathes, mills, and grinders.

• Fabricate and repair precision components from technical drawings.

• Produce tools, jigs, and fixtures for maintenance tasks.

• Inspect and test parts to ensure proper function and specifications.

• Perform routine maintenance to reduce downtime and optimize performance.

• Assist with installation and modification of machinery.

• Conduct daily equipment checks and report issues to supervisors.

• Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Requirements:

• Prior experience with machine tools and industrial machines.

• Excellent knowledge of machinery parts.

• A high school qualification or equivalent certificate from GTI.

• An apprenticeship involving mechanical operations would be advantageous.

• Professional knowledge of safety protocols.
