Reservoir/Simulation Engineer

NSB Omega is searching for a Reservoir/Simulation Engineer for our Oil & Gas Client in St. John's, NL.

Qualifications Required

• 10+ years of engineering experience in oil and gas; minimum 5 years in reservoir engineering.

• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, geology, petrophysics, and thermodynamics.

• Experience in field development planning, depletion strategies, well placement, and secondary recovery.

• Proficiency in Eclipse, Intersect, Petrel.

• Experience in production forecasting and reserves determination.

• Ability to build, maintain, and history-match dynamic reservoir simulation models.

• Ability to perform QC on models and conduct sensitivity analyses.

• Understanding of economic and risk assessment methodologies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Professional designation preferred.
