Survey Party Chiefs

Omega Subsa is seeking experienced and motivated Survey Party Chiefs to lead offshore survey operations supporting subsea construction, inspection and ROV activities. 

You will be responsible for supervising survey personnel, managing survey activities, and ensuring accurate positioning, data acquisition, and reporting in accordance with project requirements and QHSE standards. Acting as the key interface between offshore survey teams, vessel crews, project teams and the onshore survey department, you will play a central role in safe and efficient project execution. 

These offshore-based positions report operationally to the Offshore Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, or Survey Manager. 

Key Requirements 

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a supervisory offshore survey role 

• Strong technical competence in offshore and subsea survey operations 

• Proven experience with EIVA, Sonardyne, Exail or similar systems 

• Solid understanding of ROV operations, positioning, offshore construction including LBL positioning, metrology, and seabed surveys for pre- and post-installation activities related to pipeline, flexible, and structure installations 

• Strong communication skills and confident leadership style
