Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
Oversee operational systems, processes, and infrastructure, and identify opportunities.
Manage daily operations, balancing business analysis, vendor, and risk management tasks.
Collaborate with Logistics and Asset teams to set and meet goals, ensuring timely progress.
Contribute to long-term planning, project reporting, and change control implementation.
Track and report key performance metrics (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).
Identify trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.
Support training programs and ensure cross-department consistency in quality standards.
Assist in the onboarding process, improve HR documentation, and support new hire integration.
Ensure compliance with regulations, conduct audits, and train staff on relevant laws.
Manage budget, monitor inventory, and oversee cost management for financial efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Business/Finance) or PMP certification in lieu of education.
Minimum of 3 years project management experience, with at least 2 years as a Business Manager.
Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation within automotive or manufacturing sectors.
Knowledge of technical logistics regulations, import/export, transportation, & security requirements.
Strong understanding of business laws and operations processes in supply chain management.
Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
Experience addressing operational concerns and monitoring customer satisfaction.
Developing and implementing operational procedures and policies.
Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills for coordinating projects and teams.
Proficient in budget development, financial oversight, and managing time-sensitive issues.
