Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee operational systems, processes, and infrastructure, and identify opportunities.

• Manage daily operations, balancing business analysis, vendor, and risk management tasks.

• Collaborate with Logistics and Asset teams to set and meet goals, ensuring timely progress.

• Contribute to long-term planning, project reporting, and change control implementation.

• Track and report key performance metrics (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).

• Identify trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.

• Support training programs and ensure cross-department consistency in quality standards.

• Assist in the onboarding process, improve HR documentation, and support new hire integration.

• Ensure compliance with regulations, conduct audits, and train staff on relevant laws.

• Manage budget, monitor inventory, and oversee cost management for financial efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Business/Finance) or PMP certification in lieu of education.

• Minimum of 3 years project management experience, with at least 2 years as a Business Manager.

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation within automotive or manufacturing sectors.

• Knowledge of technical logistics regulations, import/export, transportation, & security requirements.

• Strong understanding of business laws and operations processes in supply chain management.

• Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.

• Experience addressing operational concerns and monitoring customer satisfaction.

• Developing and implementing operational procedures and policies.

• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills for coordinating projects and teams.

• Proficient in budget development, financial oversight, and managing time-sensitive issues.
