Quality Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of quality accounts and quality control reports.

• Conduct quality inspections on site.

• Monitor, track, and report quality work progress

• Accurate documentation of non-conformance records.

• Attend daily meetings to track the quality inspection required.

• Keep abreast with the CLASS surveyor

• Follow up with all outstanding quality work onsite and operations

• Understudying quality control methods and strategies.

• Issuing and completing job safety analysis (JSA).

• Issuing job permits.

• Conducting safety induction for visitors and new employees. 

• Any other duties that the Quality Supervisor/ QHSE Manager may assign.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Knowledge of the marine/ shipyard industry

• Knowledge of marine systems and regulations/ PQR, WPS, and welders' knowledge.

• ISO 9001/ISO45001 certificate training.

• Certificate/ Degree in Quality Assurance/ Quality Control.

• Possess strong interpersonal skills.

• Attentive to details and have a sharp eye while on the job.
