Storekeeper

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against invoices or delivery notes

  • Store items properly and maintain organized storage areas

  • Issue materials and supplies as per authorized requests

  • Maintain accurate inventory records (manual or system-based)

  • Conduct regular stock counts and assist with audits

  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or slow-moving items

  • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of goods

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store/warehouse area

  • Coordinate with purchasing and other departments as required

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification is a plus)

  • Proven experience as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or similar role

  • Basic computer skills (inventory systems, MS Excel, etc.)

  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures

  • Ability to lift and move goods as required

  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
