Material Logistics Analyst

Responsibilities: 

  • Execute and oversee material logistics activities, including receiving, inspection, storage, handling, dispatch, and loading.
  • Support logistics leadership to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize operational risks.
  • Monitor logistics processes and service providers, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with logistics procedures, KPIs, and performance targets.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to support supply chain and materials management needs.
  • Manage material coding, categorization, and inventory accuracy, including SAP-related activities.
  • Promote continuous improvement within the logistics team to optimize resources and performance.
  • Ensure transparent communication and effective collaboration across logistics and supply chain teams.
  • Maintain HSSE standards across all logistics operations, prioritizing safety, environmental protection, and asset integrity.
  • Comply with ethical standards, company policies, and all applicable laws and procedures.

 

Requirements: 

  • Degree/Diploma in Project Management, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Experience in oil and gas sector and knowledge of managing various types of materials within the energy sector
  • Familiar with SAP or any related ERP system
  • Ability to work independently with prompt decision making
  • At least 5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics and warehouse management
  • Lean Six Sigma and Logistics certifications are preferable and an asset.
