Assignment Description
The Fenris Project is part of Client’s Valhall and is executed as an Alliance Project (FFA) with Aker Solutions and ABB. The concept comprises an 8-slot, unmanned wellhead platform (UI) located at the Fenris field, designed for minimal offshore presence, and optimized for high-pressure/high-temperature conditions. The platform will export unprocessed well streams to the Process and Wellhead Platform (PWP) at the Valhall Field Centre. All hook-up materials and equipment will be staged at the fabrication yard in Verdal, with offshore execution planned for a high-readiness approach to minimize offshore work scope. Role assignment will start onshore at Aker Solutions Verdal, followed by offshore hook-up period planned June - Nov 2026.
The Hook-up Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the offshore hook-up scope for the Fenris platform. This includes ensuring readiness during the engineering and fabrication phases, coordinating resources, and leading offshore activities in alignment with project objectives for HSSE, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Strategic Planning & Readiness
- Develop and maintain the hook-up execution strategy, including philosophy, method statements, and detailed plans.
- Ensure all offshore work is minimized through onshore readiness and prefabrication.
- Prepare hook-up registers, material take-off lists, and logistics plans.
- Execution Management
- Lead offshore hook-up and ensure safe, efficient operations.
- Coordinate with Completion Manager for seamless integration.
- Resource & Logistics Coordination
- Plan human resources and rotation schedules
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are staged at Verdal yard and ready for offshore mobilization.
- HSSE Leadership
- Implement client's zero-incident philosophy and barrier management principles.
- Maintain emergency preparedness and compliance with HSSE standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with engineering, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure alignment.
- Report progress, risks, and mitigation measures to Project Management Team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in offshore hook-up within oil & gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of constructability, logistics, and SIMOPS planning.
- Leadership skills with ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in high-activity phases.
- Familiarity with client BMS, HSSE standards, and alliance project execution models is preferable.
