Document Controller
We are looking for a structured and motivated Document Controller who wants to contribute to quality and efficiency in our subsea and offshore projects. You will play a key role in ensuring proper document management and quality in all phases of our projects, from planning and execution to delivery and archiving.
As a Document Controller, you will work closely with the Reporting Manager, project managers, and survey teams both onshore and offshore, ensuring that all technical documents, reports, and deliverables are handled in accordance with client requirements and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilites
Establish, maintain, and follow up document control systems for subsea projects
Register, quality-check, and distribute documents and technical deliverables
Handle document flow between client, suppliers, and internal disciplines
Control revisions, metadata, and approval status in project documents
Ensure archiving of field and reporting documentation
Assist in improving routines and systems for document management
Follow up transmittals and delivery plans
Qualifications
Experience with document control in subsea, offshore, or technical projects
Good IT skills and experience with document management systems (preferably Omega 365, SharePoint, ProArc or similar) and solid knowledge of Word and Adobe Acrobat
Basic understanding of survey processes and project deliverables is an advantage
Education in administration, technical fields, project management, or equivalent relevant experience
Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English
