Assignment Description

• We are seeking a skilled and proactive SPI/LCI consultant experienced with Smart (Plant) Instrumentation for one of our assets. 
• The role requires extensive experience and knowledge about LCI information, data and systems and preferably experience from previous conversion projects. 
• The consultant will play a key role in establishing and managing SPI data, ensuring continuity and efficiency in both project execution and ongoing operations.
  Core duties:
• Instrument loop design for projects and assets in operation
• Identification and correction of missing information in the database
• Establish and quality-assure F&G loops in SPI for an upgrade project in Operation.
• Perform full-scale import of equipment, cables, and connections in SPI, including data extraction, quality checks, import, and verification.
• Collaborate with Contractors and internal resources for input and QA in SPI.
• Development and improvement of work processes related to instrumentation
• Provide technical support and quality assurance within the operations organization

Qualifications

• Experience from the oil and gas/process industry, particularly with SPI deliveries in both projects and operations.
• Experience with loop design, cable structure, and IO cards in SPI.
• Experience with technical information management and system integration.
• Experience with cost optimization and efficiency improvements in SPI deliveries.
• Experience with SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) as super-user and administrator, including import tools and project module.
• Competence in instrumentation and technical documentation.
• Ability to operate CAD tools and update technical drawings.
• Knowledge of LCI processes and systems, including relationships between equipment and documentation
• Structured and quality-conscious work style
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently
