Assignment Description

The PRO Growth Business Unit has the responsibility for the future development projects to refill our project portfolio and maintain clients production levels according to goals and strategy. To succeed we need to continue our transformational journey and operationalize identified improvement proposals and solutions into our project portfolio. We need project managers who are ready to take the lead on transformation. Our projects span from identified Life Time Extension projects and complex modification projects, to traditional hydrocarbon projects (eg. subsea tie-back) and project candidates which require a large the degree of new, game changing elements related to among others requirements, technical solutions, commercial models etc. 

Our project managers shall be recognized for challenging the existing ways of working and for actively seeking new, smarter more efficient ways to develop and run our projects.   

Now we are looking for enthusiastic Project Managers who can resonate with the above stated, and which have a solid experience on working on oil and gas projects in the stages from pre DG0 to DG2. Execution experience (DG2-DG4) is also valued.

• Are structured and manage to plan and work with a focus on change management and the decision making process

Area of responsibility: 

• Project Manage who follows he Stage Gate Process for typical hydrocarbon projects
• Facilitate a creative environment with high interaction - to ensure that all options and potential concepts are defined and developed  
• Ensure successful execution and integration of the overall Project in the Concept Development phase (integrator of all deliverables from Facilities, D&W, Operations, Reservoir, Commercial etc.) and potentially also post DG2
• Ensure Project performance (Concept identification/ evaluation/screening, project execution, HSE, quality, schedule, cost, reporting, risk management) and overall deliveries of a Project   
• Stakeholder management and communication to stakeholders 
• Contribute to further development and improvement of clients processes and procedures 

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience from working on hydrocarbon projects 
• Experience in working in the stages from pre DG0 to Concept Select and strong knowledge on the stages post DG2 
• Master of Science or MBA 
• Previous experience as Project Manager/Group Leader (or similar) with a proven track record for delivering results and managing groups of multi discipline team members 
• Demonstrated ability to drive improvement and seek new solutions
