Software Developer

NSB Omega is searching for a Software Developer four our MAJOR Utilities Client in St. John's, NL. 

Assignment Description

The Software Developer's responsibilities will include:

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using the .NET framework.

- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in languages like C#, HTML and VB.NET.

- Design and build interactive web applications using Microsoft Blazor.

- Design and develop custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps.

- Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft services like Power Automate and SharePoint.

- Identify and resolve technical issues in collaboration with other software developers and stakeholders

- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications.

- Manage the deployment of applications and updates.

- Other duties as required

The consulting services may be carried out via remote work or on-site at the Hydro Place office, St. John’s, Newfoundland. The consultant must be available to attend in-person meetings as required

The Consultant should have the following qualifications and experience:

- Proficiency in .NET.

- Strong understanding of C# and VB.NET.

- Expertise in Microsoft Blazor

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development

- Ability to design and develop custom business applications using Power Apps.

- Experience with integrating Power Apps with other Microsoft services like Power Automate and SharePoint

- Proficiency in SQL Server.

- Ability to design and manage database schemas.

- Experience with Microsoft Azure for deploying, managing, and scaling applications.

- Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems for code management.
