Engineer (Multiple Positions - All Disciplines)
NSB Omega is searching for Engineers of all Disciplines for multiple roles for our Client.
Job Description:
We are seeking skilled engineers in multiple disciplines, including but not limited to Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Process, and Industrial Engineering. These positions will be integral to the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of our new battery manufacturing plant. Each engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of the project, ensuring it meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Engineering Support:
- Develop detailed designs, plans, and specifications for plant systems, infrastructure, and equipment in line with project requirements and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the design is efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable.
- Provide engineering solutions for complex challenges related to plant construction, equipment installation, and system integration.
Project Execution & Oversight:
- Support the construction, commissioning, and startup phases of the new plant, ensuring all systems are installed and functioning according to design specifications.
- Coordinate with project management, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Perform technical assessments and troubleshooting during installation and commissioning phases.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure all designs, systems, and processes meet the highest standards of quality and comply with local regulations and safety codes.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure that all equipment and systems meet performance, safety, and operational standards.
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of engineering documentation, including drawings, reports, and compliance records.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate closely with other engineers, project managers, and contractors to address engineering challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership, highlighting any issues or risks and recommending solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams, such as procurement, operations, and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of systems.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains throughout the design, construction, and operational phases of the project.
- Stay updated on the latest engineering technologies, industry best practices, and sustainability trends to drive innovation within the plant.
Risk & Safety Management:
- Apply best practices for risk management, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Contribute to the development of safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Process, Industrial, or related field).
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering role within the manufacturing, energy, or industrial sectors. Experience in battery technology or energy storage systems is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, systems, and equipment.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with CAD software, project management tools, and other engineering software.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental considerations within industrial settings.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- PMP or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
