Accounts Clerk

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Accurately prepare and maintain accounting documents and records, such as invoices
  • Prepare bank deposits, and general ledger postings
  • Enter financial data and post transactions on QuickBooks
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
  • Constantly update job knowledge

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an accounting role
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and QuickBooks desirable 
  • Currently pursuing CAT/ACCA or a degree in Accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Good organization skills
