Duration: ASAP - 31.12.2025
Location: Stavanger or Bergen
Travel to fabrication site in Greece and assembly site 1 ½ hours north of Bergen will be required. 

Assignment Description

• Follow up of subcontractors HSE Program and HSE Activity Plan.
• Prepare Emergency response and notification plans and supporting with training the emergency response organization.  
• Participate in and follow up project audits to ensure that the HSE management system is followed and maintained. 
• Ensure that HSE inspections are scheduled and carried out on project sites. 
• Ensure that HSE requirements are included in enquiries, bid clarifications and contract agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Follow up the incident reporting from contractors.
• Facilitate risk workshops for fabrication and assembly activities
• Management and follow up of Job Risk Assessments and Work Permit processes.
• Facilitate lessons learned during the project.
• Support planning and execution of HSE campaigns together with contractors.
• Arrange familiarization meetings before travelling to assembly sites to ensure good understanding of the planned scope of work and to familiarize personnel with HSE risks and contribute to good safety awareness.
• Support with recording and reporting of HSE statistics, incident and trend analyses.
• Ensure (or perform) incident investigations (depending on qualification).
• Provide the HSE input to the Weekly and Monthly Reports.
• The HSE Advisor will report directly to the VP HSEQ

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (Work experience can compensate for lack of formal qualifications).
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience following up HSE in fabrication, construction and commissioning both onshore and offshore 
• Detailed knowledge of the Norwegian regulatory framework for construction and commissioning work onshore.
• Trained facilitator
• Investigation lead (not mandatory, but a preferred competence)
• Strong communication and cooperation skills
• Good English skills, spoken and written
• Structured and systematic approach
• Able to work independently and in team
• Proactive and solution-oriented  
• High integrity
