Assignment Description

The PDP PRD FE Subsea Facilities (SF) sector is a competence and resource unit that is responsible for all subsea facilities personnel in PRD’s project portfolio. Our sector's main task is to provide projects with engineers, task- and project managers and to develop our personnel's competence across the technical disciplines and within project development, including leadership. Our personnel work in projects within oil and gas, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, and power from shore in all phases of the projects, i.e. the feasibility, concept, FEED and execution phases.

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in and be responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of pipelines. This includes the following: 

• Follow-up of relevant contractors. 
• Screening, concept development and early-phase studies for new projects. 
• Scope definitions/descriptions and selection of relevant technical requirements. 
• Tendering and evaluation activities. 
• Preparation of technical documents for project sanction, studies, and contract tendering.  
• Sporadic offshore work.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree, however preferably master’s. Degrees in mechanical, marine or civil engineering are the most relevant. Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications. 
• Minimum five years of relevant experience. Longer experience preferred.
• Background within Pipeline EPCI and/or Pipeline Commissioning. 
• Good understanding of project development, and experience therein. 
• Oral and written proficiency in English. Norwegian language proficiency is not a requirement.
