Welder

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.

• Select appropriate welding techniques, tools, and materials for assigned tasks.

• Perform welding, cutting, and joining of metals using MIG, TIG, SMAW, or other welding methods.

• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.

• Maintain and clean welding equipment, tools, and work areas.

• Follow safety protocols, including the use of protective gear and adherence to HSSE standards.

• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production goals.

• Identify and report defects, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a welder in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.

• Certification or Degree in welding (GTI or equivalent) or related field.

• Proficiency in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, SMAW, or flux-cored welding.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Knowledge of metal properties and welding safety procedures.

• Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform welding tasks for extended periods.

• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
