Assignment Description

· Contribute in the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
· Provide engineering input
· Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems, including input to plan.
· Able to work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.
· Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
· Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.
· Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.
· Coordinate with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.
· Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
· Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services
· Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.
· Plan and ensure first fills are available in timely fashion and perform first fills.
· Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve Aker BP’s expectations.
· Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
· Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.
· Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on Commissioning plan.
· Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.
· Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.

Qualifications

· BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
· MSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.

Essential experience and job requirements
· Experience from NORSOK projects.
· System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding
· Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills are a major advantage.
· Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems. Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
· Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.
· Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Oslo. Mobilization to construction sites prior to start of Commissioning activities is a requirement.
