Assignment Description

Client and the joint venture partners have made an investment decision to redevelop the Valhall field, including installation of a new centrally located platform (PWP), and to develop the Fenris field. We are now looking for a Field Engineer for the Utility Module being built at Rosenberg Worley Stavanger. After completion at Rosenberg, the module will be installed at Stord as part of the PWP platform.

• Build and maintain relations to the subcontractor on long term basis.
• Plan and perform monitoring and documentation of the subcontractor’s activities to
  ensure fulfilment of contractual obligations.
• Demonstrate HSSEQ leadership by being a role model. Promoting HSSEQ principles,
  mindset, and Company SAFER Values. Active participation to achieve project HSSEQ
  goals.
• Demonstrate HSSEQ Leadership by emphasizing personal commitment.
• Review technical documentation and requirements and ensure an adequate standard.
• Monitor the construction for the welding and construction for all Structural and Piping,
  to ensure good interface with other disciplines.
• Member of Company Site team and contribute to the group as the driving force within
  your discipline. For day-to-day business report to lead on site.
• Follow up contractors’ performance with QC of Welding, surface treatment and other
  disciplines for the Construction phase and follow up by site inspections including pre-
  fabrication site and report all non-compliance, comment activities to QA-plan, audit,
  and verification plan.
• Participate in inspection activities according to Inspection and Test plan (ITP) as
  required.
• Help ensure that operators have adequate skills in respective trades and continuously
  follow up on quality of installation activities.
• Follow up the MC documentation from contractors and subcontractors during the
  installation period and assist in verification of MC certificates and Punch items.
• Follow up site progress and the MC documentation during the installation period.
• Monitor receipt and storage of materials to ensure traceability and that systems and
  equipment are protected and preserved through fabrication and installation.
• Participate in SJA, Risk Assessment, HAZID, HAZOP or other HSSEQ related reviews
  when required.
• Contribute to the Management of Change process and to project risk workshop.
• Identify and follow up relevant opportunities, risks, and mitigating actions.

Qualifications

• Technical experienced QC welding, NDT and Coating.
• Valid certification within relevant disciplines as required in Norsok.
• HSSE experience
• Knowledge of Mechanical Completion systems, such as PIMS CMS, MIPS etc.
• Auditing knowledge and experience for both Quality and HSSE
