Assignment Description

• Overall responsibility for the Control & Automation in a project currently in FEED phase, potentially also in detail engineering phase
• Perform design, analysis and evaluation of new control systems and modification of existing control systems
• Set requirements and design criteria for control & automation systems
• Verify/review/approve control, automation, and instrumentation documentation

• Specify, purchase, oversee installation and testing of control and safety equipment and systems
• Verify/review functional safety assessment, SIL identification and SIL allocation together with the technical safety and process disciplines
• Define and verify the standards, codes, and regulations to be followed by the projects
• Develop clients specifications for the discipline
• Support development of operation and control strategy and procedures 
• Be the technical company representative towards suppliers, contractors and supervise work developed by them within the discipline
• Interface with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, contractors, and customers for resolving technical matters

Qualifications Required

• MSc in Engineering 
• Minimum 10 years’ experience from working as a control and automation engineer in the oil & gas, power sector, chemicals, or similar industry
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes is required 
• Experience with Hydrogen and Hydrogen derivatives is an advantage
• Experience with design of industrial facilities and plants is an advantage
• Fluent in English, both oral and written. Norwegian and Portuguese are an advantage
