Document Management Manager

This role will provide document and information management for field development projects.

Core duties:

  • Ensure alignment to BMS regarding processes and requirements, within the scope of data Management.
  • Verify adherence (“Like ting Likt”) across projects; develop “best practice.”
  • Initiate, solve and implement improvements within system, processes and requirements
  • Drive “new ways of working” and develop discipline community. 
  • Stakeholder management towards process and system interfaces
  • Develop document and information plans and perform quality control of data and information for the project in alignment with AkerBP processes and governance, and national regulations

Education & Experience:

  • Higher education. Practical relevant experience and knowledge may replace formal education
  • Minimum 5 years experience with document and information management in field development projects as Operator
  • Extensive experience in document and/or information Management
  • Regulatory competence for the petroleum industry

Skills / Abilities / Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Data and Information Management framework terminology, preferably formal education/courses within this area
  • Knowledge of E&P company’s value chain
  • Excellent knowledge of Document management systems, preferably PIMS and Documentum D2
  • Super user experience in Office 365 products and especially Teams and Sharepoint
  • Preferable with experience with digital interfaces and 

Certifications or languages:

  • Fluent in Norwegian language, written and spoken
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
