Market Research Field Supervisor

Location: Georgetown, GY

Duration: One-Year Contract on a Full Time Basis

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Research Field Supervisor to oversee and manage our team of Field Workers. The Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of research projects, maintaining high-quality data collection, and providing guidance and support to the Field Workers. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of market research methodologies, and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. 

Responsibilities: 

• Supervise and lead a team of Market Research Field Workers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. 

• Plan and organize field research activities, including scheduling, deployment of resources, and coordination with other teams or departments. 

• Ensure the adherence to research protocols, guidelines, and ethical standards throughout the data collection process. 

• Conduct regular quality checks on data collected by Field Workers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. 

• Collaborate with the project manager and research team to define project goals, objectives, and timelines. 

• Provide regular updates to the project manager on the progress of data collection, challenges faced, and potential solutions. 

• Handle any escalated issues or concerns from Field Workers, clients, or respondents in a professional and timely manner. 

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in market research to enhance team performance and outcomes. 

• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and professional growth. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Bachelor's degree in market research, social sciences, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree would be an advantage). 

• Proven experience in market research or fieldwork, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role. 

• Strong knowledge of research methodologies, data collection techniques, and survey design. 

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. 

• Proficiency in using data collection tools, software, and statistical analysis programs. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed decisions and provide strategic guidance. 

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and ensuring accurate and reliable data collection. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

• Knowledge of ethical guidelines and best practices in research and data collection. 

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with team members, clients, and respondents.
