Project Assistant

Job Location: Support, East Bank Demerara, Guyana

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate with project managers and assist with the successful full cycle of assigned projects; from initiation to completion, including receipt of payment if necessary
  • Assist with customer communication and interactions
  • Ensure all other required documents are obtained from clients including feedback
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and Project Manager to ensure project success
  • Address questions/concerns throughout the project
  • Perform tasks required by the Project Manager in support of project needs
  • Be aware of all aspects of the scope of work to properly assist the Project Manager
  • Track project changes and produce updated schedules
  • Review project information and compile schedules in a timely manner
  • Track the progress of all new and ongoing projects and maintain up-to-date notes
  • Peruse and file all project documentation appropriately (hard and soft copies)
  • Organize, compile, and submit support documentation on completion of project
  • Submit any required information to the client as directed by the Project Manager
  • Report to the Project Manager for all issues
  • Conduct Quality, Health and Safety Inspections for all projects 
  • Report any deviations to the Quality Department 
  • Complete QC report
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Work Location: Office/Dockyard


  • 5 CXC with grades 1-3 including Mathematics and English 
  • 2-3 years’ experience in handling similar job 
  • Familiar with documentation and reporting
  • Strong Communication skills
