Senior Instrument Engineer
Assignment Description
- Work in electrification, modification, and maintenance projects
- Work with clients to reduce carbon footprint from existing and new installations
- Tasks may include: Participate in EPCI projects, general field instrument engineering, system engineering, automation and control engineering, Fire & Gas systems engineering, layout design, cable dimensioning and calculations, field instrumentation and valves, technical procurement activities related to mechanical packages (as PRD), preparation of MTO`s and requisitions, preparation of installation job-cards, input to other disciplines, coordination and cooperation with suppliers and client, offshore surveys
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor- or master degree or technical school
- Experience from the NCS and good knowledge of NORSOK Standards
- Good knowledge of field instrument engineering
- The ability to mentor and coach other personnel
- Professional interest in following developments in technology and improving work methods
- A commercial mindset, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High ethical standards and willingness to adhere to company values
- Offshore Course: Valid offshore certificate
- Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English
